Allergy Information
- Flowers and plants are not edible. Keep them, their water and any plant-food packet away from children and pets.
- Fresh flowers and greenery carry pollen and scent, which can bother people with hay fever, asthma or fragrance sensitivity.
- Some stems and leaves have sap that can irritate sensitive skin - wash your hands after trimming or handling them.
If the recipient has allergies or pets, you may prefer to send a gift without fresh flowers or plants.

- Keep the arrangement in a cool location away from direct sunlight, heat, and drafts.
- Remove fading blooms as needed to help the remaining flowers stay fresh.

Delivery & Substitutions
Delivery options
Chicago Baskets delivers to any address in Illinois on a date you plan ahead. Same-day delivery is never offered - not in the Loop and not in any suburb. Checkout confirms the recipient's address and shows the estimated delivery date before you pay. Delivery is free on orders of $100 and above anywhere in Illinois.
Include the full address with any apartment, floor or suite, and the recipient's phone number. For an office tower or a building with a front desk, add the company name. December books up quickly, so leave room in your plans for holiday gifts.
If an item is unavailable
Availability may require substitutions that preserve the gift’s overall value, theme and design.
Gifts that can't wait
Choose the recommended delivery method at checkout. With slower shipping, perishable items may be replaced by non-perishable alternatives to protect quality.
