Timing a Christmas delivery

With Christmas Day on a Friday this year, Thursday, December 24 is the last date that still lands before it. Chicago Baskets publishes no single final order day. Instead, checkout looks up the recipient's address and shows an estimated delivery date before payment. Those dates are estimates, and holidays and busy weeks can need extra time, so an earlier date is the safer choice.

What is the last day to order for Christmas?

Chicago Baskets does not publish one last order day for every basket. Checkout shows the estimated delivery date for the recipient's address before you pay; for Christmas it should read Thursday, December 24 or earlier. Business lists sent with the corporate form are best paid and submitted by December 12.

Can a basket be delivered today?

No. Same-day delivery is not offered; every basket is prepared ahead and coordinated for its address.

Do baskets with alcohol need ID?

Yes. Alcohol goes only where the law allows it for the address, and the recipient must be of legal drinking age, 21 or older, and show photo ID. If nobody can, the Gourmet Gift Collection with Dark Chocolate and Brass Knife Set has no alcohol in it.
